Rohit joined the AI & Data Intelligence Team at Pivotal in 2024. He brings over a decade of research experience in molecular biology, computational chemistry, and theoretical physics. Rohit has previously worked as a Multiscale Modeling Researcher in the Development Sciences Informatics group at Genentech, where he pioneered a novel computational workflow for structure-based kinetics modeling. Before transitioning to the industry, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where he led the protein folding subgroup, addressing fundamental questions in molecular biophysics. Rohit earned his PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and BS/MS in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
