Stephanie Pulford joined Pivotal in 2024 an AI scientist and technical lead for AI Methods. Her work focuses on conversational and agentic AI systems, as well as general machine learning. Previously she served as Head of AI and Data at GameOn, a conversational application platform company, where she developed and launched the company’s first low-hallucination LLM response features; the Lead AI Data Scientist at Tempo Automation; and the associate director for mixed-methods R&D at the UC Davis Center for Educational Effectiveness. As a former Howard Hughes Translational Medicine fellow, Stephanie holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on agent-based mathematical modeling of actin dynamics for cell motility.
